The Lincoln Continental was one of the most iconic American luxury cars ever built. The car had a good run across 80 years on the American highway (a couple of short breaks between generations aside), having first hit the road all the way back in 1940. The Continental was sold across ten generations, finally taking its final form in 2016 for the 2017 model year, after a fourteen-year break.
