- Alpharex and Liberty Walk revealed a widebody Land Cruiser at SEMA.
- It rides on 24-inch forged Vossen wheels with LB-Works wide fenders.
- Despite its wild look, the SUV keeps the stock 2.4L hybrid powertrain.
The Land Cruiser isn’t exactly the poster child for performance, yet that hasn’t stopped Liberty Walk from giving it a full visual overhaul. The Japanese tuner has taken Toyota’s workhorse and dressed it up like it’s auditioning for a role opposite the Mercedes-AMG G63. It’s all theater, of course, but Liberty Walk has always preferred style points to dyno charts.

The modified SUV made its first public outing at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where it shared floor space with lighting specialists Alpharex, who showcased it under their banner.
How Do You Make a Land Cruiser Look Like An AMG?
Liberty Walk has already experimented with the larger Land Cruiser 300, but this marks the tuner’s first venture with the newer 250 Series, known as the Prado in some markets. It’s not the debut of a sporty Land Cruiser though, as previous efforts from Wald and Tom’s Racing have paved the way for this more extreme interpretation.
At the front, the LB-Works bodykit brings a reshaped bumper with larger, sport-inspired intakes and integrated DRLs, complemented by a decorative insert on the hood. Along the sides, the SUV gains Liberty Walk’s signature bolt-on wide fenders, while the rear features bumper extensions, a diffuser, a large rear wing, and a trunk spoiler.
Another cool touch are the Alpharex Nova Series LED headlights and taillights, giving a more upmarket look to the Land Cruiser.

The tuned SUV rides on a new set of 24-inch forged alloy wheels by Vossen wrapped in Toyo Tires Proxes ST III, an all-season rubber designed for performance trucks and SUVs. While we don’t have information about the chassis upgrades, it is obvious that the Land Cruiser has been fitted with a lowered suspension and spacers.
Review: 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser’s Design Wins Hearts But Its Diesel Might Break Them
Despite the aggressive stance, the SEMA show car doesn’t have any performance upgrades. In the US, the Land Cruiser is exclusively available with Toyota’s turbocharged 2.4-liter i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain, producing 326 hp (243 kW / 331 PS) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4WD system. Overseas buyers, however, can still choose from less potent gasoline or diesel options, depending on the market.
How Much for the Liberty Look?
According to Liberty Walk’s official website, the complete bodykit bundle costs $8,800, while the 24-inch Vossen wheels are priced at $14,850.
For those who prefer a pick-and-choose approach, the breakdown is as follows: $2,420 for the front bumper, $1,100 for the rear bumper, $880 for the rear wing, $660 for the trunk spoiler, and $990 for the hood attachment.
