Liberty Walk Revives an ’80s Icon for SEMA 2025
Liberty Walk, Japan’s masters of wild widebodies and audacious styling, has taken a detour from supercars to resurrect a true American legend, the third-generation Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. Debuting at SEMA 2025, the LB-WORKS Chevrolet Camaro Third Generation (1982–1992) is Liberty Walk’s latest statement piece: a fusion of 1980s muscle nostalgia and modern Japanese design bravado.
Known for radical transformations of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and McLarens, Liberty Walk’s new project hits different. It’s a love letter to an era of mullets, muscle cars, and loud street presence. With the Camaro nameplate officially retired after the sixth generation, this build feels like a high-octane tribute to an icon that refuses to stay in the past.
A $7,546 Ticket Back to the ’80s
The LB-WORKS Camaro IROC-Z widebody kit, made from FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic), carries a complete kit price of $7,546. That includes a front bumper, side skirts, four wide fenders, a rear wing, and a rear diffuser — each piece serialized and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
For those who want to go piece by piece, the front bumper costs $1,430, the side skirts $1,540, the rear wing $1,023, and the rear diffuser $803. Liberty Walk notes the kit requires significantly wider wheels to complete the look, a small sacrifice for such a commanding stance. Availability will be limited, and with the reveal planned at SEMA, demand is expected to spike once enthusiasts get an up-close look.
Liberty Walk
Retro Muscle Meets Modern Madness
The third-gen Camaro IROC-Z has always been a symbol of unapologetic American muscle, and Liberty Walk has dialed that attitude up to eleven. The result is part street fighter, part show car, and entirely outrageous. With flared fenders, low-slung aero, and that unmistakable Liberty Walk presence, this Camaro looks ready to headline a synthwave music video.
And since we’re talking about resurrection here. And with Chevrolet’s recent trademark filing hinting at a potential Camaro comeback, Liberty Walk’s 2025 build feels perfectly timed. Whether or not the Camaro returns to production, this widebody IROC-Z ensures its legend lives on, louder and prouder than ever.
