
Lenovo is gearing up to launch its next-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet. The promo images shared earlier had teased the design. We’ve already seen a glimpse of the rear with a unique RGB ring light, whose purpose we’re yet to learn. The tablet may debut in China in March, with no details about its global release yet. While we wait for the announcement, more Lenovo Legion Y700 specs have come our way.
Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet: display specs officially confirmed
Some of the specs we know were shared by the brand, and some have leaked on Weibo. As a preview, this device could become the best Android tablet this year if gaming is your thing.
Starting with the official details, on Weibo, Lenovo confirms its next-gen tablet will feature an 8.8-inch screen with a 3,040 X 1,904 pixel resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, a 12-bit color depth, a DCI-P3 color gamut, a 408ppi pixel density, a 2,640Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 800 nits of brightness. Additionally, the display offers TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free technology.
The promo image shows that the tablet is quite compact to hold, especially for gaming. At least, that’s what the teaser image is going for. We see minimal black borders on all four corners, with the front/top one housing a front-facing camera for video chats.

24GB RAM, 1TB storage, 68W fast charging, and more
Besides that, prolific leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed some more details of the Legion Y700 tablet. The leak shows the tablet will arrive in three memory configurations: 12GB RAM and 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and a 24GB + 1TB version is also in the mix. He says it’ll feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for performance.Â
While the previous leak points to a 9,000mAh battery, this one adds that it will get 68W fast charging support. Lenovo’s upcoming tablet could weigh approximately 360 grams. As said, the Lenovo Legion Y700 could debut in China in March. However, details regarding its global launch are not clear at the moment.
