Lee & Associates negotiated a 5,350-square-foot lease at 6657 South Street in downtown Tinley Park, Illinois. The property is strategically located southwest of Chicago with nearby access to I-57 and I-80.
Both the seller, South Street LLC, and the buyer, the Pappas Family, were represented by Rick Scardino, principal, and Michael Petrik, senior associate, at Lee & Associates of Illinois.
The new owners plan to introduce an elevated gastropub with a refurbished menu and enhanced interior. The downtown retail corridor has been strengthened by the recent opening of Harmony Square, a 1.6-acre plaza featuring a live performance venue.
“The Pappas Family are terrific operators with a proven track record,” said Scardino. “Their portfolio includes successful concepts such as Darlene’s and The White Sheep in Orland Park, with another White Sheep opening soon in downtown Naperville. Their new venture will add to the energy and momentum in Tinley Park’s entertainment district.”
