Believe it or not, we’re less than three months away from Samsung debuting the new Galaxy S26 series. Samsung typically debuts the new Galaxy S in mid-January, after CES. So it’s truly right around the corner. And that means case manufacturers are getting to work on their new cases for these phones.
X user @TarunVats found a photo that was made by a case maker for their new case, showing off the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is the first time we’ve seen it outside of our CAD renders we released a few weeks ago. It’s worth noting that these case makers are likely using the same CAD renders that we had. So changes are going to look very similar.
The image does show the new camera island that we had already seen in other CADs. Where the three main cameras get its own raised island, over the 3x telephoto and laser auto-focus module. Otherwise, the design does look virtually identical to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Galaxy S26 series is set to debut in January
The last few years, Samsung has debuted the Galaxy S series in January, just a week or two after CES happens. Which does make it one of the last smartphones to release with Qualcomm’s newest chip, but it’s also the one that will be the most widely available. And this year, we do expect that Samsung will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Though, there are some rumors of Samsung going back to a dual-chip approach this year, and using the Exynos 2600 in some markets.
Battery size is also rumored to remain the same at 5,000mAh. Part of this is due to regulations in the US, particularly cargo regulations. OnePlus is able to get away with larger batteries in their phones, because they are technically two batteries. But the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra should be a beast, and we do know that the Galaxy S26 Edge has been cancelled.
