Lamborghini introduced the Temerario GT3 over the summer and now they’ve unveiled the Temerario Super Trofeo concept. Shown at the Misano World Circuit last weekend, the concept previews the race car that will celebrate its track debut in 2027.
Designed to replace the Huracán Super Trofeo, the latest model is billed as the “ultimate expression of our fun-to-drive philosophy.”

It shares a number of components with the Temerario GT3 – including its engine and transmission – and is being pitched as the “ideal entry point for those eager to experience the world of GT competition.”
Lamborghini didn’t say much about the car, but the concept has an aggressive exterior with canards and a prominent front splitter. We can also see ventilated fenders, sporty side skirts, and what appears to be lightweight plexiglass. They’re joined by a sizable rear wing and a massive diffuser.
Pure V8 Power, No Hybrid Tricks
While the company didn’t go into many specifics, they confirmed the car has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that eschews hybrid technology. It produces 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) and sends power to the rear wheels.
That’s less than the 907 hp (677 kW / 920 PS) Temerario, but more than the 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) Temerario GT3. Lamborghini described it as the perfect amount for gentleman racers and said the engine is paired to a six-speed sequential transmission from Hoer.
The company went on to say the race car has an “ALU/CFK hybrid chassis” with a fully integrated FIA roll cage as well as ABS brakes and an adjustable traction control system with 12 settings. Lamborghini also implied the model has a Capristo exhaust, BMC filters, and KW suspension components.

Last but not least, drivers will find Dinamica Infinity upholstery on the dashboard and it’s the “world’s first 100% PES mono-component non-woven suede for automotive” applications.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann remarked, “Lamborghini was not born as a racing brand, yet our customers … have constantly asked us for a product designed for the track.”
He added, “With the Temerario Super Trofeo we are taking another decisive step, reaffirming our promise to deliver a pure race car for the growing community that joins us during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo weekends.”
