Kia is not the first name one thinks of when it comes to trucks. But the brand is trying to change that. Kia launched the midsize, body-on-frame Tasman pickup to compete with the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger in the Australian market. And the Korean brand is considering building a body-on-frame SUV variant if all goes successfully. But the early returns are in from the Tasman’s launch, and even Kia admits it’s not gone all that successfully.
