KBC has acquired 3100 McKinnon Street, an 11-story office building along the Katy Trail in Uptown Dallas. The company has announced that it may convert much of the 226,000 square feet into something other than office space. The Dallas Business Journal reports that the company says the property will eventually combine office, retail and residential space.
KBC has brought in Thirty-Four Commercial to oversee leasing and property management. Short‑term lease opportunities are available in the range of 1,400 to 20,000 square feet.
Financial details of the building sale were not disclosed. Dallas Central Appraisal District values 3100 McKinnon at nearly $44.6 million. Key tenants include Balfour Beatty and The Real Estate Council.
