JLL has been selected by Brown University Health (BUH) in Rhode Island to support the strategic oversight and management of its combined BUH real estate portfolio. Under the engagement, JLL will evaluate and align assets across BUH’s portfolio to support current operations and long-term growth.
A team led by U.S. Healthcare Leasing Advisory lead Matt Coursen, managing director Bob Coughlin, and SVPs Chris McCauley and Anna Lee Ware will provide strategic portfolio development, data analytics, brokerage and transaction management services across approximately 150 properties totaling 2.3 million square feet of off-campus space throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut and Southeastern Massachusetts and 2.2 million square feet across six hospital campuses.
“As healthcare systems evolve, real estate becomes more than an operational function,” Coursen said. “It plays a meaningful role in access to care, how services are delivered and how organizations support their workforce. Brown University Health is a leading health system in Rhode Island, and being able to support its newly combined real estate portfolio at this moment is meaningful work for the JLL team.”
