
JLL announced that Piping Rock, a global vitamin and supplement manufacturer, has signed a 408,767-square-foot lease at Turnpike Commerce Center, a newly constructed industrial facility in Shalersville, Ohio.
JLL Executive Managing Director Joe Messina and Managing Director David Stecker represented the owners in this transaction. CBRE’s Fred Herrera and Fred Ragsdale represented the tenant.
The lease, representing 40% of the building’s total space, marks a major milestone for owners Geis Companies and Stonemont Financial Group. Their more than one million-square-foot facility anchors a 470-acre, master-planned industrial park.The facility features a 40-foot clear height, cross-dock configuration, 330 trailer parking spaces, 179 dock positions, 60-foot speed bays, and 3,253 square feet of office space.
“Geis and Stonemont recognized a clear gap in the market and delivered a five-star industrial product in a location that’s long been underserved,” said Stecker. “Piping Rock will benefit from the facility’s modern features and speed-to-market advantages.”
