The development team behind West Side Square (WSS) on Jersey City’s West Side recently topped off the project’s first residential tower, The Residences at West Side Square. The celebration brought together city leaders, creative collaborators and community members.
West Side Square is being developed through a partnership between Lanterra Developments, Westdale Properties, Lantree Developments and Altree Developments. Located at 1075 West Side Ave., the 12-story Residences at West Side Square will comprise 477 rental apartments, anchoring a mixed-use destination set to include an outdoor piazza, curated retail, pet-friendly amenities, a lobby café, restaurants, and public art installations.
The topping-out event began with remarks from the team behind the project, including Zev Mandelbaum, president and CEO of Altree Developments; Raphael Mandelbaum, Principal and VP of Lantree Developments and Mitchell Cohen, COO of Westdale Properties. They were joined by Hudson County Commissioner William O’Dea and State Sen. Raj Mukherji, who presented a Senate Proclamation recognizing the project’s contribution to the revitalization of Jersey City’s West Side.
