Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, has yet another mid-range Android smartphone, the iQOO Z11, in its pipeline, and it’s launching later this month in China. The company has officially started teasing the upcoming device while confirming a price tag of somewhere between CNY 2,000 – CNY 3,000 (~$288 – $435). Notably, the iQOO Z11 will cost slightly more than some previous Z-series models like the Z10 Turbo. The company hints that the battery and display specs would justify the slight bump in pricing of the iQOO Z11.
iQOO Z11 may push battery and display specs further, but for a slight price bump
Continuing with the industry-wide trend of offering bigger battery life in mid-range smartphones, iQOO product manager Xing Cheng has reportedly confirmed that the Z11 will feature a 165Hz display and a massive 9,020mAh battery. This would make the iQOO Z11 feature the biggest battery ever in any iQOO smartphone. The confirmation came at the company’s 7th anniversary event.
Besides a bigger battery, rumors about the display specs of the iQOO Z11 have been circulating online lately. Today, tipster DCS hinted that the iQOO Z11 would feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution. The tipster has further hinted that the device will offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Recently, a device rumored to be the iQOO Z11 surfaced on a certification site, hinting at 90W fast wired charging support. Just to be clear, iQOO hasn’t confirmed any of these details yet. However, one of the Z11 series devices, the iQOO Z11x, is also scheduled to launch in India on March 12, with a massive 7,200mAh battery. Considering that detail, and the iQOO Z11’s spotting in Malaysia’s SIRIM and the IMEI database, suggests that the device might also go global.

High-performance mid-range SoC expected
At this point, there are no official specs other than those of the battery and screen refresh rate of the iQOO Z11. However, we expect the device to run on a high-performance mid-range processor, as hinted by DCS. To catch you up, its predecessor, the iQOO Z10, packed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. That said, we will get a closer look at the official specs once iQOO launches the device in a few days. Speaking of smartphones, last month, iQOO also launched the iQOO 15 Ultra dedicated to gamers.
