
Interra Realty has brokered the sale of two apartment buildings in Chicago. The 14-unit 5069 N. Northwest Highway in the Jefferson Park neighborhood sold for $5.65 million, and the eight-unit 2034 N. Avondale Ave. in the Bucktown neighborhood traded for $4.9 million.
Interra Senior Managing Partner Brad Feldman represented the seller in both transactions, a private local developer. Director Michael Duckler represented the confidential buyer of 5069 N. Northwest Highway. The private buyer of 2034 N. Avondale acquired the property as part of a 1031 exchange and assumed the seller’s debt on the asset. Both properties were fully occupied at the time of sale.
“These deals highlight just how competitive Chicago’s multifamily market remains, particularly for newer, well-built product,” said Feldman. Constructed in 2023, 5069 N. Northwest Highway includes 14 two-bedroom apartments, as well as 14 on-site parking spaces. 2034 N. Avondale features five two-bedroom and three three-bedroom layouts, in addition to eight on-site garage parking spaces.
