The Infinix GT 30 was officially announced earlier this month, and now the company is announcing that it will be launching globally on September 11 alongside a new Delta Force special edition of the phone. The Infinix GT 30 is geared towards mobile gamers, and as such, delivers a gaming aesthetic and a few gaming-centric hardware features.
The main feature, the GT Trigger, was first used on the GT 30 Pro and is being reintroduced here to continue giving mobile gamers a competitive edge. The GT Trigger does as the name suggests, and provides users with a controller-style trigger on the side of the device. This way, the trigger ends up on top when they’re playing games in landscape mode, such as Delta Force. This will also be a great device for games like Call of Duty, or any other shooters, and even for games that let you remap controls, as you can map some of them to the GT Trigger.
The Delta Force special edition of the Infinix GT 30 doesn’t seem to look any different
Usually, with a special edition phone, there’s a difference in design. The style tends to be themed after whatever the partnership includes. In this case, the Delta Force special edition GT 30 doesn’t seem to look any different from the original version that was announced earlier this year. There are seemingly no special colors, and there are no Delta Force designs on the phone itself. At least, based on the images that Infinix has provided.
The only thing that seems to make this a Delta Force special edition is the packaging. This does have Delta Force designs all over it. Infinix also confirms that the GT 30 will be used as an official device for major esports tournaments all over Southeast Asia. So that could be part of this special edition release. There could be some special Delta Force-related software features included, but Infinix doesn’t mention this in any capacity.
It’s also worth noting that the Delta Force special edition doesn’t have different specs. They’re the same as the regular models. The regular Infinix GT 30 comes powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It hasn’t been confirmed if the Delta Force edition will be available globally or not, either. All of this aside, the Infinix GT 30 is likely to be a popular device for mobile gamers, due to its affordability and decent specs for its price range.
