One of the most iconic vehicles from the early-mid 2000s in the US was the Chevrolet SSR. In essence, the SSR was a sort of spiritual successor to the Chevrolet El Camino, a half-truck, half-car that was produced between 1959 and 1987, with a short break lasting between 1960 and 1964. The El Camino was universally loved during its time in production, with loads of requests from General Motors to resurrect the model from swaths of people.
