Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort completed a multimillion-dollar renovation project that began nine months ago. Located at 1200 N. Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach, the 219-room waterfront resort underwent a phased renovation while remaining open to guests.
The first phase, which started in September 2024, includes upgrades to 100 guest rooms in the North Tower, a redesigned lobby, a new resort-style pool and hot tub, and two new dining concepts: The Citrus Club, an all-day café, and The Kester.
Urban Robot Associates led the project. The resort’s remaining 119 rooms in the South Tower are expected to be completed later this year.
The renovation also includes a 3,000-square-foot pool deck with private cabanas and fire pit lounges and food and beverage service from the resort’s Tiki Bar.
Upgraded event space spans over 8,000 square feet, including an oceanfront terrace and ballroom.
Key International and Wexford Real Estate Investors jointly own the resort. In 2021, the two bought it for $54 million.
