Honor has expanded its range of budget devices by quietly launching the Honor X6d in the UAE. The phone arrived soon after the entry-level 5G offering, the Honor Play 60A, which landed in China late last year. Now, the brand’s other affordable offering, the Honor X6d, launches with similar specs in the United Arab Emirates. The new phone shares some features with the Play 60A.
Honor launches the X6d, its latest affordable 5G phone
The Honor X6d comes with a simplistic design, and it is a 5G-enabled offering. It has a 6.75-inch LCD display on the front, with 720+ resolution. Powering the phone is a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is a basic 6nm chip that enables 5G connectivity. The company has paired the processor with 4GB RAM and 256GB unexpandable storage.
In the camera department, the new Honor phone offers an upgraded 50MP primary camera at the back. The lens is capable of shooting full HD videos at 30 fps. For selfies and video calling, users get a 5MP snapper.

A dual-SIM phone with 5G connectivity and a 5,260mAh battery
Software-wise, the phone boots Android 15-based MagicOS out of the box. However, the brand hasn’t provided whether the device will get the Android 16 update or not. Also, the listing on the UAE store doesn’t mention anything about a fingerprint sensor for security. However, the handset is unlikely to offer this security feature.
A 5,260mAh battery keeps the whole package running, which is slightly smaller than the 5,300mAh power cell found on the Honor Play 60A. Last but not least, the connectivity features include dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and so on.
Coming to the pricing, Honor has listed the phone on the store in the UAE for AED 509, which roughly translates to $138. The phone will be available in Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan colorways. The company will likely not launch the device in markets like the US.
