HONOR has been launching flagship smartphones one after another. For the uninitiated, the company has already launched the flagship Magic8 series in China on October 15. Now, HONOR is gearing up for the launch of the “Pro” model from the series in the global market. The global launch date of the HONOR Magic8 Pro is set for next week.
HONOR Magic8 Pro will hit global market on November 27, first in Malaysia
As seen on HONOR’s official website, Malaysia will be the first global market where the HONOR Magic8 Pro will launch on November 27. Rumors also suggest the smartphone could also launch in additional markets, like Europe, soon. Besides the global launch on November 27, the HONOR Magic8 Pro will also be up for pre-orders through December 4.
HONOR is also pairing pre-orders with an amazing offer. You’ll be eligible to get an Insta360 Ace Pro action camera for free if you pre-order the HONOR Magic8 Pro within the offer period. Speaking of specs, HONOR Magic8 Pro features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and maximum peak brightness of 6100 nits.
Under the hood, the HONOR Magic8 Pro packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Notably, the global variant will pack a 7,100mAh battery. It is slightly smaller than the 7,200mAh battery found inside the Chinese variant of the Magic8 Pro.

200MP periscope telephone camera onboard
You’ll also find a triple-rear-camera setup in this smartphone, featuring a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP primary sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter with autofocus. Although the Chinese model comes with 120W wired and 80W wireless HONOR SuperCharge support, it remains to be seen whether the global HONOR Magic8 Pro will also get similar charging support.
Speaking of HONOR’s smartphones, let’s not forget that the company also has the Magic8 Ultra in its pipeline. Per the leaks, the device could launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Moreover, rumors also suggest it will feature a quad-curved LTPO display and upgraded camera hardware.
