There are great deals on the spacious Prologue right now
Although it’s not Honda’s first EV, the Prologue midsize crossover is the company’s first major electric vehicle to be sold at higher volumes. Since launching last year, the Prologue has racked up some impressive sales figures, despite the fact that it left our test driver suffering from noticeable motion sickness.
After some massive discounts last month, Honda is still working hard to tempt consumers into getting behind the wheel of a Prologue. This month, it’s one of the cheapest new EVs you can lease, so let’s take a closer look at what deals are available.
This Month’s Honda Prologue Lease Offers

The 2025 Honda Prologue is available in three trims: EX, Touring, and Elite. Currently, Honda is offering Prologue lease deals for the mid-spec Touring, and these start at $289 per month over 36 months, with $3,899 due at signing.
This particular lease deal for the Honda Prologue is made possible by a $3,300 loyalty or conquest award amount. To qualify for this discount, you would need to be an owner of a 2010 or newer Honda or a model from one of 24 other brands. The list includes Toyota, Mazda, Ford, and Nissan, but you can view the full list of brands in the fine print on Honda’s website.
A further restriction applies to where you reside, as this deal only applies to residents in the following states: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, VA, VT, WA, and WV.Â
The Honda Prologue lease price includes 10,000 miles per year, with a cost of $0.20/mile if you exceed this limit, and it expires on November 3, 2025.

Alternatively, the Honda Prologue Touring’s lease price is $379/month with $3,999 due at signing. This pricier deal excludes the $3,300 loyalty or conquest award, assuming you don’t qualify for it.
If you aren’t interested in these Prologue lease deals want to buy a new one instead, these are the prices for 2025 models:
- EX: $47,400
- Touring: $51,700
- Elite: $57,900
Honda is also offering 0% APR on the 2025 Prologue for up to 60 months, a deal that also ends on November 3. As always, these lease or finance deals could differ in your location, but you can add your zip code to the Honda site to see what’s available in your area.
Honda Prologue Powertrain and Features

Sharing the same BEV3 platform with multiple General Motors models, the Prologue benefits from a healthy 308-mile range with its standard front-wheel-drive, single-motor layout. However, the Touring AWD model featured in this month’s lease deal has a slightly lower but still competitive range of 294 miles.
Adding the second motor raises the output from 220 to 300 horsepower, so the dual-motor Prologue doesn’t feel slow. Using DC fast charging, it’s capable of replenishing the battery from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. We found the Prologue to be a mixed bag on the road. On the one hand, we appreciated its absorbent ride, but it also felt large and unwieldy through the corners. We also experienced multiple glitches with the Level 2 AC charger.
This is a well-equipped vehicle. It gets dual-zone climate control, an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Google Built-in, wireless phone charging, and a complete range of safety aids as standard. In Touring guise, you also get leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and a panoramic moonroof.
Final Thoughts

For its size and comfort levels, the Honda Prologue is still an affordable electric SUV to lease. There’s no telling how long these deals will stick around, especially as automakers are still trying to soften the blow of the expired tax credit, so it would be wise to take advantage while you can.
As for the vehicle itself, some may bemoan the fact that this Honda shares so much with GM vehicles, right down to some of the interior controls. We’d also recommend taking one for an extended test drive before committing, as the heavy and uncommunicative EV wasn’t particularly great to drive, even if it’s a good cruiser.
