The compact segment may have gotten advanced new entrants like the Nissan Sentra and Kia K4, but one of the benchmarks in this category remains the Honda Civic. This is a spacious, efficient, and fun-to-drive car in either sedan or hatchback form. Now in its 11th generation, Honda has perfected the Civic over more than 50 years, and that’s a lineage only Toyota can match with the Corolla.Â
If you are interested in leasing a new Civic, Honda has a few deals available this month. The lease deals do limit you to certain trims, but are still worth a look if you want a reliable, affordable car.
This Month’s Honda Civic Lease Deals

There are three Honda Civic lease offers this month. The most affordable Honda Civic lease price is for the base Civic Sedan LX, which can be leased for $239 per month over 36 months, with $3,599 due at signing. This deal excludes tax, license, title, and registration, and Honda throws in 10,000 miles per year. If you exceed this, you’ll need to pay an additional $0.20 per mile. This deal expires on January 5, 2026.
Alternatively, you can lease the same Honda Civic Sedan LX for $350 per month, but this requires zero upfront payment. If you want a Civic Hatchback, the Sport trim can be leased for $259/month over 36 months, with $3,899 due at signing.

These deals are applicable to California, but you may find slightly different deals in your location. Be sure to check out Honda’s special offers in your area by using your zip code.
If you’d prefer another trim or to purchase a new Civic Sedan or Civic Hatchback, these are the prices for 2026 models:
- Sedan LX: $24,595
- Sedan Sport: $26,595
- Sport Hatchback: $27,795
There are also several Civic Hybrid lease deals, and these start at $269 per month.

Powertrain and Features

Honda
The non-hybrid Honda Civic comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. All models have a CVT and front-wheel drive, and although there’s not much performance to be had, efficiency is positive—the sedan can hit 36 mpg combined, while the hatchback gets 34 mpg.
If you go for a base Civic Sedan LX, it comes with the following features:
- 16-inch wheels with covers
- LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights
- Seven-inch touchscreen
- Seven-inch TFT meter
- Four-speaker sound system
- Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
- Automatic climate control
The cheapest Civic Hatchback Sport is better specified than the Sedan LX, as it also gets 18-inch alloys, an eight-speaker sound system, and red ambient lighting. All Civics get a robust suite of driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and forward collision warning.
Features like a larger touchscreen, a Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats are limited to the more expensive Civic Hybrids.

Final Thoughts
The Honda Civic isn’t the cheapest car in its class to lease this month. For example, you can get a 2026 Toyota Corolla LE on a 39-month lease, with a monthly cost of $219 and $2,999 due upfront. However, if you care about driver appeal and practicality, the Civic may very well be worth the extra cost.
Ultimately, we’d recommend shopping around in the compact segment if a low price is a top priority. If, however, you want what is probably the best overall car in this range, the Civic is hard to beat.
