The wave park in Mesa has been open just nine months, and several commercial opportunities at Cannon Beach have been gobbled up.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports that 85% of the Mesa mixed-use development, spanning 500,000 square feet, is already leased up. Some of the tenants that signed onto Cannon’s $310 million project since February include George’s Sport Grill, Lenny’s Burgers, Cider Corps, Mini City and Twisted Sugar.
Among the most prominent brands to join Cannon Beach is a Hilton hotel from the Tapestry collection. Once constructed, the four-story Tapestry Collection by Hilton will have its own entrance to the surf park.
The future 155-key hotel — which is one of two planned hotels — will sit adjacent to Revel Surf with views of the lagoon. Cannon Beach’s second hotel, the Aloft Hotel by Marriott, will feature 150 rooms.
Approximately 45,000 square feet of restaurant space is currently under construction, and two spaces remain available.
