A hospitality operator plans to use the latest high-tech hotel gadgetry at its new development in Mansfield. House of Tangram bought 30 acres in the $2.5 billion Staybolt Street district to build a 288-room hotel. The Dallas Business Journal reports that the hotel, called Carbon Mansfield, will use biometric and climate systems that adapt to each guest. It will also feature robotic bartenders, driver delivery and immersive media walls.
The district is being anchored by a sports stadium that would seat 7,000 people, a more than 33,000-square-foot convention center, hotels, a High5 Entertainment venue, and residences.
Two multifamily developments are Steam, offering 320 loft apartments with rooftop gardens and communal kitchens, and Verona Gardens, with 400 homes with hydroponics, pet studios and green roofs.
The Beck Group serves as the development manager, fiduciary and one of the general contractors.Â
