The Nothing Phone (3) is on the way, and now we can show you its design, thanks to Max Jambor. A tipster managed to get hold of a render of the device, and thus revealed any doubt about the phone’s design.
The Nothing Phone (3) design has been revealed, here’s your first look
If you check out the image below this paragraph, you’ll see the phone’s back side. That is the most interesting part of the device. Unfortunately, we still don’t get to see its front, but we can assume that it will have a flat display with a centered display camera hole up top. The bezels are also expected to be quite thin.

In any case, regarding the back, you’ll see quite a bit of difference compared to the Nothing Phone (2). Unlike the Phone (2)’s vertically aligned rear camera setup in the top-left corner, this phone has three cameras on the back.
There are three cameras on the back, but without a periscope telephoto unit?!
Those three cameras are centered in the top portion of the phone’s back, and the layout is a bit odd. That’s Nothing’s thing, however, it releases rather odd-looking phones that are easy to differentiate.
There are two circular modules on the right side, placed one above the other. On the left, you’ll notice a pill-shaped module, a third camera. Based on the shape of these modules, we’d say that the top camera on the right side is the main unit. The other two are reserved for ultrawide and telephoto cameras, it seems.
Based on the shape of the camera sensors, there doesn’t seem to be a periscope telephoto camera included here. That’s quite odd, though, as even the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, a budget device, has a periscope telephoto camera on the back. The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to include a periscope camera, as the one on the left is allegedly a periscope telephoto camera. Well, the iPhone 16 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera also doesn’t look like a periscope telephoto camera, so… we’ll see.
Glyph lights are gone
One other thing you’ll notice here is that there is no Glyph Interface on the back. In other words, it seems like Nothing is ditching its recognizable LED lights on the back, the ones that could be programmed for notifications, ringtones, and so on. They seem to be gone completely.
The backplate still has an interesting design, however, similar to what Nothing did in the past. The Ntohing logo sits in the bottom-left corner, and there is a circular pattern around the camera modules for design purposes.
That’s not all, however. This image also shows us more buttons than we expected. The power/lock and volume up and down buttons seem to be located on the right-hand side of the phone. The power/lock key is placed below the volume rocker buttons.
There are two extra buttons on the left-hand side
Two additional keys are placed on the left-hand side, however. We’re not really sure what these are for, but it’s easily possible that these are customizable. Chances are that one of them is aimed to be an AI key or something like that. We’re only guessing, though.
The Nothing Phone (3) will become official on July 1. That’s the date Nothing confirmed for the launch of this phone. This phone is expected to be a true flagship, the company’s first. It’s expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
