After several years going round in circles and at one stage at risk of sinking beneath the waves, Chrysler received a vote of confidence from its parent company, Stellantis. In a recent interview, company design chief Ralph Gilles explained that the brand will focus more heavily on “experimenting” with its product line-up and “pivoting” away from a strategy that left just one model on its books. Could the brand rekindle its love of muscle with a successor to the 300 SRT? Might we see a brand-new design study like the Halycon or the Atlantic? Will Chrysler’s board suddenly remember that it used to build convertibles? Is Auburn Hills about to produce its first-ever monster truck? We don’t know, but we’re intrigued.
