Discount food chain Grocery Outlet is planning to open a store that will be located in a 17,400-square-foot former Rite Aid space at 22201 Meridian E. in Graham, Washington.
The 1.7-acre property changed hands in May when an entity affiliated with Dickerhoof Properties of Corvallis, Oregon, acquired the site for $3.5 million, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Building permits were approved by the county last month. Dickerhoof will also perform the build-out, with GreenbergFarrow as the architect. The seller, San Diego-based Realty Income Corp., acquired the property in 2013 for $5.35 million.
This is the second Puget Sound-area Grocery Outlet slated for a former Rite Aid. A new store will open in Belfair, occupying the space previously occupied by a Rite Aid that closed in 2024. Emeryville, California-based Grocery Outlet had 552 stores in 16 states as of June, with 76 being located in Washington.
