Grandview Partners sold a 798,000-square-foot warehouse in Statesville for $139 million. Eaton Vance, an investment group owned by Morgan Stanley, bought the building. The Charlotte Business Journal reports that The Keith Corp. developed the building for the Sherwin-Williams Co.
The building is on an 84.3-acre site at Larkin Regional Commerce Park, and the project site at 192 Larkin Commerce Parkway is just off Exit 45 at Interstate 77.
The Sherwin-Williams project was the first announced investment at the Larkin Regional Commerce Park. Plans to develop the more than 1,000-acre Larkin site date back over a decade.
The site had initially been envisioned as a master-planned residential community with thousands of homes. That plan stalled for years. In 2017, project and city leaders announced a new vision to revive it as an industrial park with millions of square feet of building space.
