Job cuts are spreading in the US, and the auto industry is far from immune. According to The Detroit News, General Motors is laying off 3,300 people across several locations. All the job cuts are at electric-vehicle facilities, with 1,200 being at Factory Zero – GM’s all-electric plant in Detroit that builds the Silverado EV, the Hummer EV, the Cadillac Escalade IQ, and the GMC Sierra EV.
