An Infinix smartphone with the model number X6879 has been spotted in the Geekbench 6.5 database. The model number reportedly belongs to the base variant of the Note 60 series, which will be labeled as Infinix Note 60. The listing confirms that a MediaTek processor powers the phone. The chip features four CPU cores clocked at 2.00GHz and four cores running at 2.60GHz. It also includes Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. Based on the configuration, the chip appears to be the Dimensity 7400, a recent addition to MediaTek’s midrange portfolio.

For reference, the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 also powers several other midrange phones. The list includes devices such as the Redmi Note 15 Pro, the Motorola Edge 60, and the iQOO Z10R. It’s a decent performance-focused chipset. Moreover, the benchmark reveals that the Infinix Note 60 scores 1055 points in the single-core test and 3097 points in the multi-core test.
It is confirmed to feature 8GB RAM and Android 16 out-of-the-box
In addition to the chipset, the Geekbench reveals that the Infinix Note 60 will ship with Android 16 out of the box. It will be topped with Infinix’s proprietary software skin. While the device may launch in several configurations, an 8GB RAM variant has already been confirmed in the database.
Infinix has already teased the Infinix Note 60 Pro for global markets. The teaser image reveals a distinctive rear design. The Pro model features a dot matrix LED display integrated alongside the camera module. However, it remains unclear whether the standard Note version will adopt a similar design language or maintain a more traditional look. Further, the company has not yet confirmed the launch date of the devices. The rumors suggest the lineup will officially launch by the first week of March.
