Nordstrom Inc. will close its location at the Galleria Dallas. The 200,000-square-foot store’s last day is set for May 16. The Dallas Business Journal reports that the company closed its third-floor space, which occupied 47,000 square feet, during the COVID pandemic.
Nordstrom was one of the original tenants when the mall opened in 1996.
After the closure, there will be two remaining Nordstrom locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, at NorthPark Center in Dallas and Frisco’s Stonebriar Centre, plus 10 Nordstrom Rack clearance stores, including a location that opened in late 2025 at The Gates of Prosper.
Galleria Dallas spans about 3 million square feet and has more than 200 stores. Trademark Property Co. manages the mall. The Galleria has recently welcomed eight new tenants: ALO, Aritzia, Helzberg 1915, Kids Foot Locker, Patissery, Rolife, Urban Plant and Watson.
