Samsung will soon launch two new tablets in its premium S-series, dubbed the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra. These could arrive with boosted specs, especially offering raw performance improvements. However, there could be downgrades to the front camera department. A new Samsung device, believed to be the upcoming Ultra tablet, has received the Finland SGS Fimko certification. This confirms the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra battery and fast charging speed.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra battery details
The said Samsung device has the model numbers SM-X930, SM-X936B, and SM-X936N, as per the SGS Fimko platform. These are reportedly associated with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The supporting document shows the tablet will pack an 11,600mAh battery. This is a modest upgrade over the 11,200mAh capacity of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and above models.

The certification also confirms the Tab S11 Ultra will feature 45W fast charging, similar to the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Samsung and Apple are far behind in the wired charging race compared to Chinese brands like OnePlus, which offers 80W SuperVOOC charging support for its flagship Pad 3 tablet.
The Ultra tablet may feature a 3nm MediaTek chip
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra may get a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It is touted to be a power-efficient chip, which indicates the tablet could offer a longer battery life. The chipset offers significant performance improvements over the previous generation. To recall, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra uses the Dimensity 9300+. The Geekbench listing suggests it features 12GB of RAM and Android 16 OS, based on the latest One UI 8.
The alleged live image of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is a disappointment to Samsung fans, as the tablet may house a single front camera in a tiny notch. For comparison, the Tab S8, S9, and S10 Ultra models had dual sensors. The upcoming tablet will continue to offer a bigger display with minimal black borders around the corners.
There are chances the new Samsung tablets could debut at an event in September and go on sale in October, much like their predecessor.
