A new device, widely believed to be the Galaxy S26 FE, just surfaced on the benchmarking platform Geekbench with its key specs. The listing offers a preview of what this mid-cycle flagship will bring to the table. This happens a few days after a report revealed that the device was already in development. Samsung has not officially confirmed the device. However, the leaked specs follow a very specific pattern that fans of the series will find familiar.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE hits Geekbench with Android 17 and Exynos 2500 chip
The latest data was found on Geekbench by 91Mobiles. The model (identified as SM-S741U) is currently being tested with 8GB of RAM and is running on Android 17. This suggests that by the time the phone hits the shelves—likely in the third or fourth quarter of 2026—it will be one of the first devices to ship with Google’s next major operating system update right out of the box.
The most interesting part of the leak is the processor. The benchmarking scores point toward a 10-core chipset that aligns perfectly with the Exynos 2500. For those keeping track, this is the same silicon that debuted with the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Raw power right behind the main S26 models
The Galaxy S26 FE recorded a single-core score of 2,426 and a multi-core score of 8,004. These results show a healthy improvement over the current Galaxy S25 FE. However, they purposefully stay a step behind the main Galaxy S26 flagships, which use the newer 2nm Exynos 2600. This is normal considering that this will be the “entry-level” model of the series.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE could arrive sometime in late 2026. For users currently holding onto an older device, the question will be whether to grab the now-discounted S25 FE or wait for this newer model.
