Notably, the Cupertino tech giant produced 80.1 million phones in the same period last quarter. Apple struggled in markets like China, where sales dropped in the first quarter. With these numbers, Apple has a 17 percent market share in terms of production, as per the firm.
As for the other companies, China’s Xiaomi took third place on TrendForce’s latest report by producing 42 million phones in Q1 2025. The company grabbed a market share of 14 percent, which is down from 7 percent in Q4 2024. OPPO made 27 million phones, while Vivo grabbed fourth place by producing 24 million devices. Lastly, Transsion took the fifth spot by making 22 million phones on the TrendForce report.
