The Koenigsegg That Refuses to Die
There’s something poetic about machines that refuse to die. Especially when they’re built by Koenigsegg. You probably remember that viral clip of a Jesko engulfed in flames on a Greek highway in 2024. A million-dollar masterpiece turned into a fireball of carbon and heartbreak. For most brands, that story would’ve ended in smoke. But not for Koenigsegg.
Fast-forward to 2025, and that same car, or rather, its spiritual successor, has made a comeback. Meet the Koenigsegg Jesko Nür Revenge, a hypercar reborn, wrapped in gold leaf and audacity.
Not a Replacement
Koenigsegg rebuilt the Jesko with careful attention to detail to distance itself from the burning embers of the last model and avoid building just another replacement. The brand created a unique version known as the Jesko Nür Revenge. “Nür” is German for “Only,” and true to its name, this is a one-of-a-kind hypercar.
The original chassis number, 7358, wore Koenigsegg’s Naked Carbon finish, a rare, half-million-dollar option that involved polishing raw carbon fiber to perfection. Only four Jeskos ever had it. When that car burned, it could’ve been the end of that lineage. Instead, Koenigsegg made a fifth, and then turned the extravagance dial past eleven.

Rebuilt to Prove a Point
The Nür Revenge wears fully gilded wing endplates, gold brake calipers, AirCore carbon wheels, and Alcantara stitched with gold thread. It’s the same 1280-hp monster underneath, powered by that 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and channeled through the brand’s nine-speed multi-clutch transmission. All bets are off, and the brand wants to make a statement in building the most extreme Koenigsegg ever.
At an estimated $3 million (probably more, given all that precious metal), the Jesko Nür Revenge marks the 126th and supposedly final Jesko ever built. But beyond the numbers, this car stands as proof of something rare in the world of hypercars: empathy.
Koenigsegg restored many of its fans’ dreams after the shock of the past. Because when a Koenigsegg falls, it doesn’t just rise again. It glows.
