In the States, we’re not as smitten with the hot hatch as, say, Europe. However, that’s not to say we don’t have our fair share over here. There’s still a small, niche group of enthusiasts who keep the hot hatch alive and well in America, albeit with only a few models to choose from these days. For example, you can still drive yourself over to a Honda dealership and pick up a Civic Type R, or you can shoot over to a Toyota store and buy a GR Corolla.
