Ford thinks it was dealt with unjustly regarding the rollover safety of its 1999-2016 F-Series Super Duty trucks. In February, a jury awarded a staggering $2.5 billion verdict to the family of an elderly couple who died after their 2015 F-250 Super Duty left the road and rolled onto its roof. However, the automaker says that the 2025 jury came to its conclusion using a $1.7 billion verdict in 2022 that was eventually thrown out. As a result, Ford is appealing the decision from this year’s case.
