
- Duane Anderson, a commercial real estate expert with nearly 10 years of industry experience, has joined the Tampa, Fla.-based Colliers Florida Multifamily Team as senior associate in Central Florida. Anderson, who will work out of the Orlando office, will specialize in multifamily investment sales and advise clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets in the Central Florida region. The team provides coverage of all the major markets, including Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami.
- LGE Design Build, an architecture, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Phoenix and Dallas, has officially launched operations in Florida with the opening of its new East Coast office in Tampa. Located at 442 W. Kennedy Blvd., the firm enters Florida with nearly 500,000 square feet of logistics development construction already awarded.
- Oasis Hallandale, the 10-acre mixed-use development in Hallandale Beach, has passed the halfway mark of its second, Easttower, now rising to the 14th floor of 25. Arquitectonica designs the project. MGM Construction Group is spearheading the construction efforts for this landmark development. The project is nearing completion, with the West Tower fully topped out and slated for delivery in early 2026. The newly launched East Tower is targeting completion in 2027.
- Housing Trust Group (HTG), and AM Affordable Housing, the nonprofit founded by NBA Hall of Famer and Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning, celebrated the grand opening of The Fountains at Hidden Lake, a new $24.5 million affordable housing community for seniors ages 62 and older in Crystal River, Florida. At 10456 W. Ashburn Lane, the 81-unit community provides
- housing for income-qualifying residents earning at or below 30, 40 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). Monthly rents range from $320 to $955 for one- and two-bedroom apartments. The property is currently 100% percent leased.
