- Savills hired Andrew Hawkins as Senior Managing Director. Before joining Savills, he served as Senior Vice President at Foundry Commercial in Jacksonville, overseeing leasing and advisory services for a portfolio of more than 2,000,000 square feet of office space and industrial assets. Earlier in his career, Hawkins held leadership roles at Transwestern, Jones Lang LaSalle and Grubb & Ellis in New York, where he advised corporate occupiers on complex, multi-market transactions and strategic portfolio initiatives.
- SRS Real Estate Partners completed the $4.29 million ground lease (land ownership) sale of a Circle K property located at 3810 County Line Road in Lakeland, FL. Built in 2025, the 5,200-square-foot (sf) property is situated on 4.3 acres and has just under 15 years remaining on its absolute triple net corporate-guaranteed ground lease.
- Gazit Horizons Inc. acquired Sunset West Shopping Center, a 73,072 square foot neighborhood supermarket-anchored retail center situated on approximately 6.5 acres at the prominent intersection of Sunset Drive and SW 87th Avenue in Miami. A new Aldi grocery store is anticipated to open this year at the property. The property is fully leased.
- Casa Familia, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the advocacy and creation of safe, affordable, and sustainable housing for adults with Intellectual, Developmental, and Other Related disabilities, celebrated the grand opening of The Village of Casa Familia in Kendall. Located at 10951 S.W. 84th Street, Miami, The Village of Casa Familia includes two three-story buildings with 50 one- and two-bedroom apartments, providing housing for 62 adults.Â
