- JLL has announced the hiring of Ryan Levy as Executive Vice President with the company’s occupier services team in South Florida. Levy, who spent the past three years as a Managing Director with Newmark, will focus on servicing local, national, and global office users across various industries, including financial services firms, banks, and professional services firms, to plan and execute their corporate real estate strategies. Levy was previously a Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group, where he was recognized as a South Florida Top Producer several times.
- CBRE announced the sale of Sunshine State Industrial, a 211,471-sq.-ft. multi-tenant distribution warehouse in Miami, to Corebridge Real Estate Investors for $43.5 million. José Lobón, Trey Barry, Frank Fallon, Royce Rose, George Fallon, Gabriel Braun and Daniel Sarmiento with CBRE National Partners represented the seller, Longpoint Partners. Built in 1969, the cross-dock warehouse is immediately adjacent to Golden Glades Interchanges, providing quick access to I-95, Florida’s Turnpike, Palmetto Expressway, SR 9, and SR 441.
- Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Executive Rental Apartments, a 44-unit multifamily property in Hollywood, Florida, for $8.1 million. Alec Demetriou and Adam Marcuvitz, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer. Â
- Miami ranked second in the nation with self- storage deals exceeding $77 million in 2024, according to StorageSafe’s 2024 annual report.
- Cushman & Wakefield announced the commercial real estate services firm represented the landlord, an affiliate of Morning Calm Management, in signing four new office leases totaling 40,000 square feet at 701 Brickell. These include a 10,000-square-foot lease with Blue Owl, an 11,000-square-foot lease with Core Scientific, a 5,000-square-foot lease with Verition Capital and a 14,000-square-foot lease with XP Securities.
