Fast-Growing Anna Adding 130-Bed Senior Care Facility

FourSquare Healthcare Ltd. plans to build a 53,654-square-foot senior care facility at 3220 S. Powell Parkway in Anna. The Dallas Business Journal reports the Powell Parkway Medical Lodge is estimated to cost about $26 million and will include 130 beds.

Construction on the facility is expected to begin in June and wrap up in late 2028 or early 2029. It will create roughly 100 new jobs. 

Anna is the fifth-fastest growing city in the U.S. and adding more health care facilities is needed to keep pace with the rising population, including more older residents. Other nearby cities have seen similar increases such as Melissa, Celina and Princeton, all of which rank among the 15 fastest-growing cities in the country.
