The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is right around the corner. All three phones will launch on February 25, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. In this article, we’ll talk more about the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ design and specifications, while we have a separate article for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S26 & Galaxy S26+ design
Let’s focus on the design first. In the gallery below this paragraph, you can see the design of both the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. The two phones will look exactly the same; the only difference will be in their size.
As you’ll notice, both of them have a flat display with a centered display camera hole and uniform bezels all around. The power/lock and volume up and down buttons sit on the right-hand side, and that’s about it when it comes to physical buttons.
On the back, a triple camera setup is included. Those three cameras sit in the top-left corner, on top of a camera island. Both phones will wobble on the table, while the backplates are flat on both. The same goes for the frame; it’s flat all around.
Samsung Galaxy S26 specifications
The specifications we’ll talk about are confirmed, though it’s not a full spec sheet. Let’s start with the Galaxy S26, shall we? That phone will feature a 6.3-inch fullHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. It will be flat, by the way.
One of the storage options on offer will be a 256GB model, while a 4,300mAh battery will sit inside the phone. The Samsung Exynos 2600 will fuel the device, at least in Europe. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is expected in some other markets.
Wireless Power Share will be on offer as well, while Android 16 will come pre-installed, we’re guessing with One UI 8.5. The Samsung Galaxy S26 will measure 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm, while it will weigh 137 grams.
What about the cameras? Well, it will include three on the back and one on the front. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide unit and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. A 12-megapixel selfie shooter will be a part of the package as well.
Samsung Galaxy S26+ specifications
What about the Samsung Galaxy S26+? Well, it will also use the Samsung Exynos 2600 SoC in Europe, and one of its variants will offer 256GB of storage. That phone will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display.
A 4,900mAh battery will sit inside the Galaxy S26+, while that phone will also support Wireless Power Share charging. The device will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 on top. It will measure 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm, and weigh 190 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy S26+ will feature the same camera setup as the Galaxy S26, it seems. While we don’t have details about each camera sensor, we do know that it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. A 12-megapixel selfie snapper will also be a part of the package.
