This is the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which we expect to be announced very soon – likely next month.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are sporting that new design that we saw with the Galaxy Buds 3 family last year. This was rumored to happen with the FE model as well, and makes sense given the naming scheme Samsung is using this time around. These buds recently went through a few different certifications, which confirmed that the buds can charge at 1W and the case at 4.5W, which is par for the course here.
In this render, we have the black Galaxy Buds 3 FE, but they are also expected to be available in white – similar to the original Galaxy Buds FE. Evleaks did post renders of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE last month, which were removed by the copyright holder.

Expect a September 2025 release, alongside Galaxy S25 FE
Typically, Samsung will release all of its “FE” products around the same time, and that’s usually in September or early October. Recent rumors have pointed to the Galaxy S25 FE being released in late September, likely the last week of September. So the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will likely come around the same time.
Just last week, we released the specs for the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE, and they look pretty decent for its price. Including an Exynos 2400, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,900mAh capacity battery.
We don’t expect to see a Galaxy Tab S11 FE just yet, as the regular Galaxy Tab S11 lineup hasn’t been released yet. Which is what we expect to see in September. Samsung has done this before, where they launched their flagship tablet alongside some “FE” devices, in fact they did it last year with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
