Last week, we brought to you a few Motorola Razr 70 Ultra renders, showing two of the many colors that Motorola will launch the device in. This included the Orient Blue Alcantara and the Pantone Cocoa Wood color. Now, we have a number of the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra specs.
Keep in mind that the Razr 70 Ultra will be marketed in the US as the Razr Ultra 2026, as was the case last year and the past few years before that.
As far as the specs go for the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra, there are no real surprises here, and they do look very similar to the Razr 60 Ultra. The biggest difference this year is the battery size, which is always a welcome change.
Dimensions for the Razr 70 Ultra are 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.19mm when unfolded, which is virtually identical to its predecessor, within 0.02mm. It also weighs the same 199g. As far as the displays are concerned, the cover display is still a 4-inch 1080×1272 resolution panel, with the main display being a 7-inch 2992×1224 resolution.
Motorola’s sticking with last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC
Powering the Razr 70 Ultra this year is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. That’s right, last year’s flagship processor that was also used in the Razr 60 Ultra. This is likely to help offset the rising costs of RAM and NAND storage these days. Motorola is sticking with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
As mentioned already, it will also use a 5,000mAh capacity battery. This is a 6% increase in battery capacity over last year’s model, while maintaining 68W wired charging.
Now let’s talk about those cameras. Last year, with the Razr 60 Ultra, Motorola did a good job with those cameras, partly thanks to the PANTONE partnership the company has. Which you can see more in our Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 review. Not only were the photos really good, but the colors were extremely accurate and not oversharpened or oversaturated like some other brands. This year, Motorola is sticking with the same 50-megapixel setup for all three sensors.
Motorola should be announcing the Razr 70 series, or Razr 2026, if you’re in the US, very soon. Last year, Motorola announced the new Razrs in late April, and we’re expecting a similar time frame this year as well.
