- A full-size wooden Bentley Continental GT sculpture is listed for sale on eBay.
- Handcrafted model took over 3,000 hours and thousands of pieces to complete.
- It’s on display at Autosport Group’s Florida showroom next to real Bentleys.
It isn’t unusual for luxury car buyers to choose lavish wooden trim for their interiors, but every now and then someone takes the idea to an extreme. In this case, the result is not just a car with wood inside, but a car made entirely out of it. The full-size wooden model of a Bentley Continental GT is as close as you can get to owning a sculpture you can park next to the real thing, though the price tag may surprise you.
This unique piece comes from Belgium, though the maker remains a mystery. It looks similar to the sculptures by ND Woodworking Art and sports a detailed exterior and interior. It is made of marine-grade teak and plywood, with thousands of pieces assembled on two wood beams that serve as the chassis. The whole process reportedly took over 3,000 hours to complete, which shows that it was a painstaking effort.

The build is inspired by the third generation of the Continental GT that was introduced in 2017 and remained in production until 2024. The large grille, bumper intakes, exhaust outlets, and the bezels around the oval headlights and taillights have a darker finish than the rest of the bodywork for contrast. Proportions are a bit off from some angles, but details like the three-dimensional emblems are quite impressive.
What’s it Like Inside?
The wooden GT features opening doors on exposed hinges, revealing a cabin that mirrors the original layout with a dashboard, center console, and door panels. The seats are flatter and less sculpted than those of the real car, though carved lines attempt to echo Bentley’s diamond-pattern leather upholstery. The result captures the essence of the design while still making it clear this is a handmade interpretation rather than a replica.

Setting aside the steel axles and the acrylic windows, everything else is made of wood, including the wheels and tires. While this Bentley doesn’t have a W12 or a V8 engine under the hood, it rolls and steers thanks to a rack-and-pinion steering linkage.

The model tips the scales at 2,000 pounds (907 kg), meaning it is significantly lighter than a real Continental GT that can weigh up to 5,421 pounds (2,459 kg) in its most recent plug-in hybrid form.
The wooden Bentley is currently exhibited at the showroom of Autosport Group in Boca Raton, Florida, next to a bunch of used luxury vehicles from the Crewe brand. The dealer has decided to part ways with it, offering it for sale on eBay. According to the listing, there are some visible cracks along some of the glued seams and a little bit of wear inside the cabin.
Nearly as Pricey as the Real Thing
The asking price is a not-so-modest $98,900, which happens to land in the same ballpark as some actual used Continental GTs, which, you know, you can actually drive and enjoy. Then again, most Bentley owners aren’t exactly clipping coupons, so what’s another six figures for a wooden showpiece to park next to the real thing?
