
Empire Group of Companies has broken ground on Village at Borgata, a 287-unit single-family build-to-rent (BTR) community located at 3959 W. Hunt Hwy. in San Tan Valley.
Earlier this year, Empire secured $70.25 million in non-recourse construction financing for Village at Borgata, arranged by Tower Capital through a debt fund lender. Leasing is expected to begin in 2026.
Situated on approximately 27 acres, Village at Borgata will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom residences. Amenities include a fitness center, leasing clubhouse, recreational open space, dog parks, and an outdoor walking path.
The community is near the future LG Energy Solution battery manufacturing facility in Queen Creek, expected to create thousands of jobs and serve as a major economic driver for the Phoenix metro area.
