American Liberty Hospitality (ALH) is overseeing the construction of a dual-branded hotel in Bastrop. The project is at 1651 Jasper Street, inside Sendero, a 75-acre master-planned community. The company plans to spend $10 million on the project. The hotels will include Fairfield by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The 63,000-square-foot development is projected to open in early 2027. The property will have an outdoor pool and a full-service bar.
This development marks ALH’s fourth dual-brand project, following the 300-room Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites Houston Medical Center, the 319-room Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites Houston Galleria, and the 300-room Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites Houston Downtown.
Bastrop has emerged as a hub for innovation and large-scale investment, particularly from high-profile companies. Tesla’s nearby Gigafactory continues to generate business travel and relocation demand, while the $1 billion Bastrop 552 film and TV campus is drawing creative talent and production crews to the area.Â
