If you’re in the market for a Volvo but don’t want to deal with the hassle of going to a dealership and negotiating with a salesperson, Costco may have the answer. From September 2 through October 31, eligible Costco members can receive an incentive worth up to $1,250 on the purchase of a certified pre-owned Volvo model.
According to the retail giant, the incentive has been launched to combat tight inventory and high used-vehicle prices. The Costco Auto Program helps to take out the hassle of buying a car from a dealer, as Costco itself will do the negotiating for you, ensuring that you get the best deal possible.

With this incentive, Costo Gold Star and Business members can receive a discount of $1,000, while Executive Members will get a generous discount of $1,250. A slew of 2022 through 2025.5 Certified by Volvo models are eligible, including the all-electric EX30 and EX90, as well as the latest XC90. Additionally, the C40 is also included among the eligible models.

Every Certified by Volvo model is required to clear a 170-point inspection and show fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. That checklist may sound exhaustive, but in reality, most certification programs across the industry include a similar battery of tests. Still, buyers also get a Carfax report and a one-year, unlimited-mile warranty.
