Convene, a hospitality company that designs and manages premium meeting, event and flexible workspaces, is expanding into Lower Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood with a new venue at 555 Broadway, also known as the Scholastic Building. The 16th Convene venue in New York City, Convene 555 Broadway will occupy more than 32,000 square feet on the second floor, offering a maximum event capacity of just over 450 guests.
“The SoHo submarket has been one of the most requested destinations from our existing clientele and we wanted to ensure that we could create a special venue that speaks to the energy and vibrancy of the neighborhood – we found that at 555 Broadway,” said Brian Holland, SVP of real estate at Convene.
Set to open Spring 2026, Convene 555 Broadway will have a dedicated retail entrance with a welcome desk. To serve the creative industries that occupy SoHo, the venue will provide clients the ability to create flexible layouts, numerous branding opportunities and AV production capabilities.
