Treenail Development recently broke ground on Town1, a $340 million development in Huntersville.
The Charlotte Business Journal reports Town 1Â will include over 700 residential units, 75,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and neighborhood services space. Geisler will also develop a five-story, 120,000-square-foot office building at Town1. The 54-acre mixed-use project is expected to be completed in 2028.
Town1 is also making room for a 17-acre business park on the north end of the project site. The business park is being planned to include shallow-bay flex industrial space.
The residential component of Town1 will include three product types: 327 urban flat apartments, 305 garden-style apartments and 70 townhomes. Blackburn Communities is leading the development of Junction at Town1, a complex including the townhomes and garden-style apartments.Â
The retail element at Town1 includes development pads for a brewery, cantina and medical offices. Other restaurant and neighborhoods-service uses are being plotted there as well.
