Essex Realty Group announced the promotions of Karla Galva and Jimmy Donahue. Galva joined the firm in 2022 as an associate on the suburban team and has become a key contributor to the firm’s suburban investment sales platform, focusing on asset valuation, market research, and business development for multifamily and mixed-use investments. Donahue joined in 2024, focusing on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties throughout the South and West suburbs of Chicago.
DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International recently announced that it named Associate Laura Perlman Broker of the Year for 2025. Perlman is a generalist in commercial real estate and has completed dozens of transactions this year, including representing a global manufacturer in a ten-year, 92,955 square foot lease on Chicago’s Goose Island.
CRG, the real estate development and investment arm of Chicago-based Clayco, has appointed data center veteran Rohit Kinra as senior vice president and partner, strengthening the firm’s growing data center development platform. Kinra brings more than two decades of real estate and technology experience, including deep expertise in the data center sector, and will lead the platform’s strategic growth.
Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, has promoted Martha Gaitan-Manning from property manager to regional property manager. In her new role, she will oversee five Chicago-area assets in the firm’s national multifamily portfolio. As regional property manager, Gaitan-Manning will execute the operational plan and manage budgeting for properties under her supervision.
JLL has appointed Mark Kreisman as its new Global Division President for the Financial Services division. In his new role, Kreisman provides executive oversight for a global portfolio of approximately one billion square feet, guiding banking, financial services, investment management, fintech and insurance clients. Over his 18 years at JLL, Kreisman has held numerous senior leadership roles, and most recently served as JLL’s Global Head of Corporate Real Estate, overseeing the company’s global property portfolio across more than 80 countries.
